KIIT University is founded in 1992 and is one of the Top Private Universities in India, it is positioned in the central part of the temple city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It occupies a campus area of about 6177 acres. KIIT University got the grant of Deemed to be University status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India in 2004, within a small time frame of only seven years of its inception.
